This pump can be used as:
- Fuel pump for Methanol/Alcohol
- Feed oil to your turbocharger
- Commonly used as a turbo scavanger pump
- Pump oil threw an Oil Cooler
When a turbo can't be located higher than the oil level in the engine, the oil simply can't flow back to the engine fast enough to evacuate the oil from the turbo. This pump used on many systems is very small and fits easily inline with your drain hose, and can be discreetly mounted where it's out of site.
This pump can also be used if installing a turbocharger on a 2 stroke engine with an oil tank or if you want to install a turbocharger on small engineis like the Honda GX series. These engines don't have an oil pump so you need to add an oil pump to install a turbo.
